Toyer
Toyer is showing at the Arts Theatre on Great Newport Street in London. The play opened on Monday 16th February 2009 with nightly evening performances and matinees on Wednesday to Saturdays at 3pm. The play tells of a serial killer that is running free and a strange man appears at Maude’s, a physiatrist, apartment in the middle of the night.
The man teases and taunts Maude and it quickly develops into a sexual confrontation. The terrified Maude attempts to out wit the stranger as she tried to discover if he is being playful or if he is the evil man who has become known and ‘The Toyer’. The Toyer has been wreaking havoc upon the community as the sadistic man attacks his female victims and performs his of lobotomy of them.
Maude has to think quickly and try to get inside the mind of the sadist in order to avoid facing the same fate as the woman before her. The terrifying play is set to rival the Silence of the Lambs as the chilling character stays with the audience long after the end of the play. Toyer is an intense horror play and not for those that are easily scared!
